Rules for Dogs on the beach at Edisto Island, SC?

I am going on vacation next week and staying at a pet friendly rental home, but I am not sure about the rules for Dogs on the beach I know the obvious of picking up after them but I want to know if there are only certain times dogs are allowed ...that sort of thing

I've been there often, and I have always seen the dogs on a leash and there were no particular times set for them. If your dog has trouble being around a lot of people, you chose a good beach for that. Edisto is a great place to go. Lovely beaches, historical sites, and lots of shells and sharks' teeth. Most people walk their dogs early or late just because they don't want their dog to be affected by the large number of kids on the beach. Dogs are so cool. Enjoy your vacation. Edisto really is a great place to visit.
